This monday the competition thickens! Who will be chosen to perform on Comic’s Ahoy! In June, garage comedy will be chartering a boat to sail to Catalina! Check here for details. This Monday we’ve got a few surprises like the premier of our new pre-show Live From a Garage! Each month we choose a different garage band to rehearse from 8-9pm live on garagecomedy.com! At the end of the month the band performs LIVE at El Cid.

As a sharp contrast to the abomination of Monday night at El Cid, Tuesday at Big Fish was one of THE BEST SHOWS to ever happen in the world. It was a historic night of magically funny moments, innovative performers and an almost tangible feeling of comradery. The show started out with host Dougg Pound and (guest) co-host Johnny Pemberton.

Monday February 25th 2008 was one of our worst shows ever! Sheer chaos! There was a blackout drunk wandering around yelling, a stand-up comic had an emotional breakdown, a man raped another man in a bear suit and the show was way too long.. over two hours! The best thing about the night was Jazzed Cookies which sold out immediately! After the fall out from the show we are still asking ourselves what went wrong..

ShitFest, the one minute film contest where the shittiest film wins $100, will be Emceed by Cheeser, aka Cleat Dumpster, aka David Hume!! All the while, the Silent Heckler Screen will be hanging to the side of the stage so that the live audience can read what the audience at home is heckling! A prize for the comic who riffs with the audience the most!
