Garage Comedy’s perennial favorite Michael Busch hosts this Monday’s show. Michael is an Ohio University graduate, has a role in an episode of Ghost Whisper on CBS, and has recently appeared on MTV’s Human Giant. Though he maybe best known as the yellow shirted “Sprint Guy” in television commercials for Alltel.
Performing on Monday will be Dan Mintz, Wyatt Cenac, Anthony Jeselnik, Brandon Johnson, Dame Darcy, and more. Playing smooth, sexy jazz, funk and soul ( and occasionally participating in the stand-up ) is Garage Comedy’s house band The Pacific Standard.
Rumor has it that a Mermaid may appear on stage at the beautiful El Cid, so keep an eye out for scales and a seashell bra that night, either in person or while watching the live broadcast at home.
As always there’s no cover and the show starts at 9:00 PM. El Cid serves up your favorite cocktails, tapas, and patio dining in it’s historic locale.
